100% of the proceeds from the purchase of your Stay Positive shirt will go to a charitable cause.

The charitable cause at the moment is the Dr. Jeannine S. Skinner Legacy Scholarship endowment. Jeannine, affectionately known as "Jaye," was Chamera's beloved cousin, whom she grew up with in Saint Petersburg, Florida. On September 1, 2017, Dr. Jeannine Skinner’s life was tragically taken at the age of 35 years old.

Education was a big part of Jeannine's life (she received her PhD in neuropsychology at the age of 27).

To honor her memory, the Skinner family is seeking to raise $100,000 for the Dr. Jeannine S. Skinner Legacy Scholarship endowment to be established at her alma mater, Howard University.

The Dr. Jeannine S. Skinner Legacy Scholarship

Dr. Jeannine S. Skinner, affectionately known as “Jaye,” was Chamera Bowman’s beloved cousin. The two grew up together in St. Petersburg, FL. At the age of 27, Jeannine received her doctorate in neuropsychology from Howard University. She joined the University of North Carolina at Charlotte as an assistant professor of psychology and gerontology, and she quickly became a passionate advocate for students and marginalized the people within her community.

After Dr. Skinner’s life was tragically taken at the age of 35, the Skinner family began raising funds for a $100,000 endowment to be established at her alma mater, Howard University. The scholarship will be used to aid students studying psychology.
